Update: April 2021
Helena Food Share is open during our adjusted hours and has groceries for anyone who needs food assistance. We continue to follow Lewis & Clark County health guidelines and ask all customers, volunteers and staff to wear face masks and maintain social distancing.
We provide pre-filled, grab-and-go grocery carts available at the front door of our pantries in Helena and East Helena. We ask customers to provide a photo ID and the number of people in their household.
As conditions and requirements change within our county, we will adjust our hours and services while ensuring safety for our customers, volunteers and staff. Please visit Helena Food Share’s website and Facebook page for frequent updates on how we provide food and any updates to our hours.

Update: October 2020
Beginning on Monday, October 14, Helena Food Share will adjust its weekly service schedule to be closed on Wednesday. Otherwise, the pantry hours remain the same: 12:30-6:30 on Monday and Thursday and 12:30-3:30 on Tuesday and Friday. The pantry will continue to be closed on Wednesday until conditions related to the Covid-19 pandemic allow.
Since the beginning of this pandemic, Helena Food Share has made many modifications to our operations. We are doing all we can to follow practices that help prevent the spread of COVID-19 and protect our customers, volunteers, and staff. Because of limited space in our building and the onset of the fall season, we are modifying our staff and volunteer schedules in order to maintain appropriate social distancing and limit the number of people gathered. These changes in schedules are being put in place as a proactive measure so Helena Food Share will be able to remain open and available to serve the needs of all who need food in our community. We are thankful for your flexibility and support which, as always, help us to keep our doors open and be available for all who need food assistance.
