SUMMARY:10th Annual Helena Sun Run
DESCRIPTION:The Helena Sun Run is an annual fundraiser 5K/1-Mile run to raise money for solar panels on local public and non-profit buildings with the goal of making Helena a beacon of renewable energy. For our 10th annual event\, we are finishing up fundraising for a solar project at the new Helena Food Share building at 1280 Boulder Ave\, a project that will significantly reduce HFS’s energy costs and help them have a greater impact in the community \n\n\nJoin us on Saturday\, October 4\, 2025\, and see if you can “Outrun the Sun” (i.e.\, Em Thiessen in a goofy Sun costume) and help support renewable energy in the community. The event includes a “Clean Energy Expo” where local solar installers and regulators will have tables to answer questions and provide information.
