HFS Garden

The garden grows fresh produce for Helena Food Share customers. The HFS garden offers customers a chance to get fresh, locally grown food from the pantry during Half or Full Shop visits.

Garden Produce

566 pounds

of produce was grown in the HFS Garden in 2016.

Garden Potatoes

250 pounds

of potatoes were grown with MSU Extension Office seeds.

Garden Volunteers

local businesses and volunteer groups helped with the HFS garden in 2016.

Come see what's growing in our garden every Thursday from 9 a.m. to noon. Pick a few strawberries, find out how to make your own garden thrive or give us tips for our garden!

Our friends at Helena Community Gardens and the 6th Ward Garden donate fresh produce for customers and lend their expertise and time to keep the HFS Garden growing. Thank you!
