Volunteer Manager
Do you love building community, connecting with people, and making a real difference every day? Helena Food Share is looking for a Volunteer Manager to help lead the incredible network of volunteers who power our mission.
The Volunteer Manager is a key member of the Helena Food Share Program and operations team. This position is responsible for recruiting, scheduling, and cultivating volunteers for all HFS programs and cultivating community engagement through group volunteer opportunities. This position reports to the Program Director, but also works closely with the Operations Manager and Kitchen Manager in scheduling volunteers for our main food assistance program, Grocery Share. Grocery Rescue Driver
We’re also hiring a new temporary Grocery Rescue Driver. This vital role keeps our Market full, builds strong relationships with grocery partners, and makes a direct impact for our neighbors facing hunger.
The Grocery Rescue Driver is a key member of the program team, working with the Operations Manager and Program Director to ensure that all relationships with our many contributing stores are nurtured and secure. The Grocery Rescue Driver must be friendly, creative, well-organized, and capable of lifting and moving close to 6,000 pounds per day. Experience and skills in driving, operating pallet jacks, and providing customer service in public settings are important to ensure efficient completion of work and a high-quality representation of Helena Food Share.
