At Helena Food Share, we love our volunteers and our community. We always appreciate how much everyone is willing to give to ensure that all of our neighbors have food.  Thank you to all who are offering their support as we work to provide food to those in need as well as doing our part to slow the spread of COVID-19 in our community.

VOLUNTEER UPDATE: September, 21 2020

The Covid-19 pandemic has forced us to make some tough decisions and some pretty significant changes to our holiday operations. Due to safety considerations, we are not able to allow group volunteer activities for the foreseeable future. With our limited pantry and warehouse space, we cannot maintain safe social distancing. It’s hard for us to imagine how we will pull of this work without the extra hands this holiday season, but your safety, as well as our customers’ and community’s, is more important.

Our neighbors still need your help though! Sharing food safely with those in need looks differently right now, but you can still make a difference. Please, consider supporting our virtual food drive, hosting your own fund drive, or simply make a donation. All of these options will help put food on the table for a family in need in our community.

Together, we will get through this and together, we will create a hunger-free community. Thank you for continued support.
