Commercial Kitchen

Welcome to the Helena Food Share Kitchen, where donated and rescued food is transformed into nutritious, ready-to-enjoy items for our Market customers. Each weekday, our dedicated volunteers, led by our Kitchen Manager Sally, prepare soups, salads, entrées, desserts, and more for distribution in the Market. Freshly prepared items fill the Market cooler daily, providing customers with healthy, convenient options that save both time and money. For neighbors without access to a kitchen of their own, these meals offer an especially important source of nourishing, delicious food.

Support The Kitchen

The majority of the meals prepared in the Kitchen are made using donated and rescued food, we still need to purchase essential ingredients such as cooking oil, butter, and spices, along with containers and packaging for meals, soups, and salads. Your financial gift helps keep our kitchen pantry stocked and ensures we always have the supplies needed to prepare, package, and distribute nutritious meals to our neighbors.
Thank you for helping us turn rescued food into healthy meals for our community.
